Here is a sample of the direction I am heading. This is a study, but almost a reality.

I am going to let you in a secret– Pu Erh tea. Do your own research, but this stuff is amazing. Here are just some of the benefits of this low caffeine beverage.

“The Pu-erh tea has been subject to a number of health studies. A number of medical studies have substantiated claims that the tea helps reduce cholesterol levels and saturated fats in humans, and that it might also assist in weight loss.” Link to article here

All of you have been great! The dozens of emails, and phone calls asking me how I have been was really nice. Thanks. I am doing much better. Actually being sick, then having a structural problem with my nose, was no fun. It happens. I was in the hospital twice that week and visited several ear nose and throat specialists. My nose was cauterized and I seem to healing quite well. I made it back to the gym last week and plan on finishing up another week of working out. Yesterday, I was at a follow up visit and it seems that my deviated septum needs to be fixed. Surgery! Oh boy. I will keep you posted.

This Saturday I am hosting a Belgian beer tasting at my place. I invited many of my fellow brewer pals from the SNOBS, and also asked a few friends to join the festives. You really need to enjoy beer for this one. Belgian beers are fruity, malty, sweaty, and sometimes have such a horrid aroma but they can be so delicate. A real connoisseur’s beverage. I will post many images next week. Meanwhile, check out my attempt to take images from last Saturday’s night out with Jodi back from San Fran.
