I have been working for 2 weeks now on re finishing my basement. I am really excited as I am almost complete. A buddy lent me a nail gun and Ed, Chris and I tackled the curtain wall. I painted the ceiling and some of my pipes black. It looks cool, but perhaps a grey or even a white would have thrown the lighting better. Nonetheless, I am pleased with how clean it looks down there. I still need to finish taping and mudding the walls, paint walls and epoxy the floor, and hang the door. Tonight I am building lighting made from PVC pipes and outlet boxes. Here are a few snap shots. It looks a mess, but this was before I took out the trash. I have a bunch of cabinets that were gross and really old.
