San Jose, Costa Rica Marriott Resort Poolside.

San Jose, Costa Rica Marriott Resort View from our suite.

This is in Monteverde, a view from the hammock on our front porch.

Our cabin.

Just woke up.

It rained every morning, this is 5am.

Another view.

This is inside.

We went on a trek on the only road in the city.

Someone's house.

This was a view from a trek into the valley. We are very high up in the mountains.

Our "cab" ride into Monteverde, en route to the Eco tour in the Cloud Forest.

This is the cloud forest, this is a view into the clouds.

A close up of a Quetzal. National bird of Nicaragua. Very rare.

We are on a bridge, at least 150m above the groud looking down at the ecosystem.

A howler monkey. I was good at making their calls to speak to them.

The newlyweds.

Monique in her rain gear.

This little dude was watching me while I made calls to the troops.

Yeah some flower. :S

A tucanette.

In a week or so, someone will eat him.

The barn where I gathered milk and eggs for my breakfast.

This is Jerry, he is 13 and he taught me how to milk a cow. MMM, nipples.

Moooo. Nipples.

Next day we went treking out to SkyWalk, a series of 6 suspension bridges that run into the cloud forest. This one was 200m above ground. Still in the mountains.

Cloud Forest. We are above trees.

She looks pissed, but she was not, just scared. Heh.

A view from the large bridge. I drew a red circle to show you that there was a person rapelling on a cable ride between the bridges. That was crazy stuff. We opted not to do it. It was super high up, and I love heights, but not in Costa Rica.

Another view, seriously, this looks not impressive, but this is the ONLY forest in the clouds in the world. It is massive and smells green. These views suck from a camera. You must see for yourself.

She looks pissed, but she is just hammered. On Imperial, awesome beer of Costa Rica.

This is Javier, the son of the family we stayed with. He is 16 and super cool, speaks 3 languages, and loves bugs. This is where we ate dinners. Right in front of him was fresh baked loaves of whole grain breads. Amazing.

A view from the kitchen where Ignacio (his father) made us meals.

Javier showing us how to make bugs jump.

Last night we stayed in their house.
