Thanksgiving Recipes

I know some of you are not Vegetarians, Vegans or even partially omnivorous. But take a few clicks in to the VegWeb site and see what meals you can make and or incorporate into your families cooking this Thursday. Some of my favorites include : Harvest Lentil Loaf, Thanksgiving Casserole, and of course the Garlicky Mashed Potatoes! Tell me what you like! VegWeb

Big weekend

What a weekend. Had a great time playing live at the Walter Green Studio. Pics in the journal. The crowd was filled with designers and some bought our CD. It was great. Thanks!

Sat was great. Shopping, eating at Sahadev's place, and the Harp, and then Touch! What a day. Sunday was a nice quiet dinner and a movie. This week will be crazy for just 3 days, then relax with family. I am going up to Michigan to meet the parents. Again! :)

Check out the "Silliness" ssection. More offbeat movies. Ha!

Monday :  I hope I do not go crazy. Again.

This sucks.

I guess I knew this already, but this does suck! I am really nervous to hear this from a company that has me by the balls!

As an alternative for users of Mac OS X, Adobe is recommending that customers evaluate DiamondSoft Font Reserve and Extensis Suitcase products. Adobe has no plans at present to create a version of ATM Deluxe that runs on Mac OS X.

Guess it is back to Suitcase. URGGGHHHH!!!

Mercury Lounge

Had a good time last night with the Dreamy buddy and Ed at the Mercury. It was funny, I heard someone say "The Merc is da BOMB!". I wonder if he was talking about DANMERK.COM. Prob not. Oh well, the pics are up. Enjoy.

Friday :  Dragging my feet makes me tingle.

Green Coughs

This is gotta stop. The pounding headaches and the chunks of danmerk being forced out of my neck like a human cannon ball. I need to take care of myself now.

I used to bought with drinking and going out way too much. Now I am struggling with staying home and watching TV. Man I can really get sucked in this thing. At least I am no longer sitting on the couch sucking down cans of Bud Lite.

So once a year Danmerk gets sick. This is my time. Good that it is happening before any snow fall since I am not looking forward to the cold weather. {Sorry Luscious She...}

Last night I met up with Matt, Jeff, and Max from Jacknife Powerbombs. Met at Dunkin Doughnuts in N.O. for a cup of coffee and conversations about their new site I am designing for them.

Today I am making more package designs, and later meeting with the guys for a quick rundown of our set for tomorrow...Def will be pics of this weekend.

Anyone know where I can find a cool puch/bag to carry my camera? Shoulder strap that has a pouch on it for this CoolPIX 4500??? Email me yo!

Thursday :  I feel thick.

November 20, 2002
I am home; sicker.

I am very sick. I am at home today sweating this thing off. URGH! I am going back to bed now. Sorry to spread my disease to you if you are sick too from me.

Thursday :   I know now what it is like to eat twice your weight in bogger meat.

Photos are up from the weekend

OK so the site is up, and I have updated the Photo Journal. I am off to bed now. More to come. Working on my new set for Friday. I wish you could come. :)

Oh one more thing. Check out THREE M on 409. Our entire set is up as 3 mp3's so u can listen to what you missed. Great stuff. Thanks JP!

Wednesday :   I wish I had a solution.

New face, same body.

Well, I am at it again. I had to make the site al little more image dominant. I am not a writer, and I seem to like putting pics up rather than try and exercise my writing skills. I have terrible writing skills. HA!

SO this is version 3. New cover image updated more, I added sections for static content. Check all of them, since I am making more updates. Thanks again for all your support...

WHOOT!

Monday :   Today is the same, tomorrow will be better.

BUZZ show

Things went really well. Thanks again to Jacknife Powerbombs for use of their PA. WHOOT! I still have to put images online. For those of you that missed this, you can see some of the show's images here at BUZZ gallery's web archive. We will be playing at a private party for a studio opening this Friday. Looking forward to that.

Problems with my server

It seems that my server had taken a dump on 10% of the customers. I was one of them. I was down, and luckily nothing was bad other than a few missed posts. I will be working on a migration of some new pages this weekend. So please check back. On sat I will prob pull the site down. Sorry. BUT I am making this a cool site to visit again. More human like...Thanks again for sticking with me.

I am adding an "outtakes" section, kinda like a bloopers section so you can see some bad pics of me and others. HA! They are hilarious!!!!

See you at the show tonight! I am nervous, I am playing a section live on my keyboard, so this might be good...

Please excuse my dust. I have some {minor} adjustments to make. So if you return to the site and the pages look like poopy, I apologize. I am working on adding the music section and other silliness. This is only for your benefit. Thanks, --The Management

New week.

Well having a fun filled weekend, I can say that I am glad it is over. I am exhausted.

Friday had dinner with my family, stepmother's b-day. That was very nice. Sat spent the morning with my 409 buds and stuffed about 400+ CDs for the release party. Almost there! And sat evening went to Sakura for a fun evening of dinner + drinking later to end up at Moda for dancing and drinking. Flopped my way to Lava and then went home for some snoozing. Pics in the Photo journal. Thanks peeps.

If anyone has a Cleveland Plain Dealer, today's date, go to the "Living" section. My step-mom is on the cover and featured in the inside on 2 more pics. She is modeling some amazing Opera designs from the Cleveland Area.

Scabs, crab, and Donnie.

This weekend. Whew, all I can say is--"I am glad it is over!"

Friday, went to my old friend Ted + Elise's home to celebrate Ted's 30th + Halloween + their newest addition to the family -- Lilly. Never got to see her, but the climax of the evening was not the punch, nor the hard hot apple cider with Capt' Morgans. No it was seeing the dreamy little buddy with her face scratched and scabbing up. Yep, stupidity strikes again. Donnie decided to pick up a dry ice bomb bring it up to a porch of 10-15 people. Well all ican say is that good that he got hurt the most, because everyone was asking him to get away with that thing. It blew up in his face like a looney tunes firecracker filled cigar.

OUCH!The Hot Austrian was opening the door as the bomb went off. She got hit in the cheek with a piece of an Aquafina bottle. Dumb ass he is. She better not scar. This scratch is huge. She was a sport. She was not crying or being a "girly-girl" like some people I know (male and female!)

Sat I went to Geneva to visit with Dreamy's cousins. Had a blast. Nice couple, and adorable daughter!

I am really starting to enjoy my time with dreamy buddy and her family. She is a great person, and I enjoy her interests and company. She is very interesting. I find myself letting go and falling in love again. Though I am not ready for another broken heart, I *AM* ready for someone that actually likes me and wants to be with me. {wow did I sway from the story telling??!??!?!?}

Sunday was Diwali at CSU. Harsha and Ashith asked my family to go. Watched dancing and singing in the traditional + contemporary Hindu style. After words there was a banquet in the UC where I ate some amazing food.

I am deciding to decorate my flat. I signed another year, and I think I am staying until I buy a house. {Been saving for a house these days, so I am hoping in 2 years or so I will have one. Not sure what city though, Bay? Fairview? Rockey River?} Anyway, I am painting the spare bedroom in red and or burnt umber. I am taking pics of it so please keep looking for it. Anyone know of where I can get some cool Danish Modern furniture? I am looking for a couch + a book shelf. I would love a desk, but I can not afford it now...

Photo Joural is updated. Oh and I picked up my copy of the 409 CD. Man my tracks sound so good. I am very happy with the quality of the engineering. Thanks to Keith and JP! Also the art is fabulous! Please buy one, it is $7. AND u can listen to all the other ragin' tracks on this comp! {but you really are buying cuz u love me...}

2 Years in a row

I finally got wind that the last website I designed at my last place of employment received an "Outstanding Web site award" from http://www.webaward.org. This will be my second award in 2 years for designing legal websites. {last year I received an award for Best Legal website for Thompson Hiene; though I only built the site and had only about 10% input on aesthetics, I was on that team. With Brouse McDowell I was the creative lead, art directing a photoshoot for the partners and lawyers, and the look and feel of the site.} Also thanks to Reggie Tabora for building the site after I left. Nice work man! Also props out to the dev staff for making this thing work!

WEBSITE.gif"Law web sites are literally some of the most difficult to create and make right. This design team succeeds admirably with well-organized information, a superb layout, and high-quality content," commented one judge of the Web Marketing Association panel who reviewed the Brouse.com site. Over 1300 Web sites from around the world were evaluated during this year’s competition. Entries were based on design, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, ease of use and use of technology.

Who wants one of these?

409_shirt.jpg

Yep that is right, 409 shirts are available. I am thinking black shirt and white art, and or gray shirt and black art. One thing here is the "design by force" part is going on the back. Anyone interested?
