| Weekend with the DLB and her PAPA |
Great weekend! I spent Friday evening with the Dreamy Buddy looking at the Tower Press building. (We haven't decided as of yet, but very interested. For the price in rent we could own 2 condos...) then headed over to my place for a quick bite. Later to meet JP and the N+S gang for a drink at Der Brau. Steven was there. Good to see him. Stumbled over to Treehouse for a drink with the DB's roomie and JackKnifePowerbomb.
Sat evening was great. Papa took us to the Deuche Zentrale's Hawaiian Dance + Luau. I drank Warsteiner and ate rice, Germans Know how to make great Hawaiian food; Heh heh. I danced with DLB and her step mother, Edlegard. We left early and went home to get rest, Sunday was busy. We drove all over Tremont and Ohio city. More than likely we will move to the Tower Press building. Might be pricy, but all the amenities are worth it.
Tonight, to Spencer Gifts. Working on package designs for a clock that they bought 30K of. (I was in Atlantic City last year and made the deal.) Hopefully u will see these things. The package, Product, audio alarm, and lenticualr card is all me. My first really designed piece. I am really excited. And to see it nationwide in Spencer Gifts, wow. I grew up in that store. Amazing.

Had dinner and drinks at Johnny Mangoes last night with my close pals. It was great to see everyone since I have once again bit off more than I can chew. I was accompanied by the most beautiful woman that exists, the DLB.
I updated the Photo Journal with Sven XX's bday and last night. Hope you all enjoy.
This weekend I am laying low again to get work completed and Jamie Frasolak is getting hitched!

Man, I would have never thought that my site became a mini forum to banter about death! HMMMM< I smell an idea.... "deathmerk.com" hmmm.
Anyway, Steven has been hard at working on a new project for Withcbeam. There are a series of E-Corpse's on his site. I was involved in one of them.

| Elevator woes |
This morning, was taking the elevator (at work) and it stopped between 2 and 3. Nothing out of the ordinary however this is a large freight elevator. So there was a lot of noise and screeching. I actually was kinda scared. I mean to the extent of saying to myself, this is how I was gonna go. Now I know that I wrote a few times before about the concrete almost hitting me(if I didn't have Crispix + Soy), but for some reason, I am going to be "that guy". The guy that was stuck in an elevator, or the guy that drown after falling into the ocean during a storm.
It just makes me kinda scared to think that things could snap so suddenly. Made me look at the existence a little different. Wow, I wonder what would have happened if I fell?
There is not a really happy ending here. I pushed the control to go down, and it made another noise and shook terribly, but then I pushed "UP" to get to the 6th floor. I called our landlord, and she yelled at me cuz help was on the way and I was out safe. She then said that it was $100 per call, and now they do not need to come out to fix because there is nothing wrong. OK, I seem to always get stuck between 2 and 3??? She is amazing. Nothing wrong, she has owned buildings for 45 years.

| Volvo Hood |
I found a Volvo hood for a 1994 850 4dr for $150 in New York (beaver Creek) Aprox 7 hours away. I am so there!!! No grill, but who cares! I can order one online for $70. Only one problem, they will not let me change out the part there. :(
I am kinda in a pinch. I have to meet the following critera to get this completed.
1. Get a vehicle that can take hood back to Lakewood
2. Have someone go with me
3. Be able to go during normal work hours (M-F)
Anyone interested? Anyone? :|

| My new studio lights. |
Here is the first (decent) image from the lights. Kinda looks Sears Portrait - esque. But geeze, it has been at least 4 years since I used studio strobes. More later. Oh and this was taken with my Cool Pics 4500 + Wein HSHS Soft Synch + AE900 Nikon HS coverter. All digital baby!

Back to the real viewers...
Well with working on 4 other web projects outside the norm of doing my career, I seem to now have a little "plop" of sunshine in the next few weeks. FREE TIME!!!! :)
I just got my Alien Bees yesterday. All I have to say is that it feels totally weird having all the capabilities to make photos with studio lighting. I have not shot with them as of yet since I am making animations with AfterEffects for some new products. But can't wait until the end of the week when I can do some really co things with them!!!! I have been waiting for almost 3 years for this type of equipment. What to shoot next!
Oh, I am also working on a new site design. Just wanted to throw that out there. Other than that How are you? Tell me...
